Diesel engine fuel injection technology has experienced two development stages: traditional purely mechanically controlled fuel injection and modern electronically controlled fuel injection. The rise of modern electronically controlled fuel injection technology should be attributed to the rapid development of computer technology and sensor detection technology. At present, electronically controlled fuel injection technology has developed from the initial position control type to the time control type. The main means of realizing modern electronically controlled fuel injection technology include electronically controlled pump nozzles, electronically controlled unit pumps and electronically controlled common rail systems.

Pump Nozzle (UIS)
In a pump-nozzle system, the injection pump and the injection nozzle form a unit. Each engine cylinder is equipped with such a unit in its cylinder head, which is driven either directly by a rocker arm or indirectly by the engine camshaft via a push rod.
Single pump (UPS)
The single pump system works in the same way as the pump nozzle. It is a high-pressure injection system with a modular structure. Different from the pump nozzle system, the fuel injector and the fuel pump are connected by a short injection oil pipe. Each cylinder in the single pump system is equipped with a PF single plunger fuel injection pump, which is driven by the camshaft of the engine.
Common Rail System (CRS)
In the common rail accumulator injection system, the ECU receives signals from each sensor and uses the solenoid valve on the injector to inject the correct amount of fuel at the correct injection point with the correct injection pressure. , ensuring the best combustion ratio, atomization and best ignition time of the diesel engine, as well as good economy and minimal pollution emissions.
