1. High-speed steel tools, when high-speed rough cutting is carried out in the CNC machining center, the cutting amount is large, and a large amount of cutting heat will be generated, so it is better to use a water-based cutting fluid with good cooling performance; if high-speed steel tools are used for medium and low speed During finishing, oil-based cutting fluid or high-concentration emulsion is generally used, which can help reduce the friction and bonding between the tool and the workpiece, inhibit the formation of cutting edges, and improve the accuracy of processing.
2. Tool steel cutting tools, because the heat resistance temperature is 200～300℃, the heat resistance is poor, our machining center is easy to lose hardness at high temperature, so we should use cutting fluid with good cooling performance and low concentration.
3. Ceramic tools, diamond tools and cubic boron nitride tools have high hardness and wear resistance. The machining center generally does not use cutting fluid during cutting, and sometimes water-based cutting fluid can also be used.
4. Cemented carbide tools, due to high melting point, high hardness, better chemical and thermal stability, cutting and wear resistance are much better than high-speed steel tools, oil-based cutting fluid can be used in ordinary processing; if it is heavy cutting , The cutting temperature is very high, and it is easy to wear the tool very quickly. Pay attention to increasing the flow of the cutting fluid of the CNC machining center to ensure sufficient cooling and lubrication.
Pollution is everywhere. Whether in the working environment or during the operation of the machining center we use, the cutting fluid may be contaminated. We have also analyzed the reasons for the deterioration of the cutting fluid used in the CNC machining center. Once it is found that the cutting fluid has deteriorated, If there is discoloration or peculiar smell, replace with new clean cutting fluid in time.
