2. Ball screw: The most commonly used transmission element in precision machinery. Its main function is to convert rotary motion into linear motion, or convert torque into axial repetitive force, and it has both high precision, reversibility and high efficiency. specialty. Its manufacturing requirements are also relatively high, including material and assembly accuracy.


The ball screw determines the transmission accuracy of the equipment. Its material, accuracy, pre-tightening force, cutting resistance, lubrication, load, etc. may cause the ball screw to wear quickly, create gaps or other irreparable problems. Therefore, this is also the key point.


The commonly used ball screws of CNC machining centers can be divided into P2/C2, P3/C3, P4/C4 according to the accuracy. There are also a small number of CNC machining center manufacturers that choose P5/C5 (the smaller the number, the higher the accuracy), and the rolling level is divided according to the process. And grinding grade, the latter is more accurate than the former.


At present, there are various brands of ball screws commonly used in 3d cnc machine, including mainland China, Taiwan, Japan and Germany. The disc tool magazine uses a manipulator to change the tool, and the tool change speed is fast, but the failure rate is relatively high. There are also a few disc type tool magazines and the hat type tool magazine directly changes the tool through the spindle. 4. Guide rail: The commonly used guide rails for 3d cnc machine can be roughly classified into the following three categories according to their accuracy, C ordinary level, H high precision level, and P ultra-precision level. Generally, the guide rails for 3d cnc machine are above H level. According to the type, it can be divided into three types: hard rails, linear slide rails, and steel-inlaid rails.


Hard rail is characterized by good rigidity, but the disadvantage is that because of the large friction resistance, the accuracy and speed are relatively low. Suitable for large cutting amount processing.


There are two common linear slide rails for 3d cnc machine, one is ball guide, the other is roller guide. The ball guide rail, as its name implies, achieves linear sliding through the rolling of steel balls, while the roller guide uses cylindrical rollers to achieve linear sliding, and its friction resistance is less than that of a hard rail. The ball guide rail is point contact, and the roller guide rail is in line contact. Therefore, the friction resistance of the roller guide rail is greater than that of the ball guide rail, and its rigidity is stronger than that of the ball guide rail. Therefore, the guide rails for CNC machining centers are generally hard rails and roller guides, and there are more ball guides for small engraving and milling machines.


The user should pay attention to the following points when choosing a hard rail: 1. The quenching hardness of the guide rail is generally above HRC50°. 2. Whether the worktable is plasticized, (small iron powder or cutting will be generated when the guide rail is rubbed. The plasticized guide rail has strong abrasion resistance and soft material, which can be accommodated in the plastic rail and reduce the wear of the guide rail. The service life of plastic rails is longer than that of non-plastic rails.) Users can choose hard rails or linear rails according to their own conditions. At present, the commonly used linear guide brands for CNC machining centers on the market are: Nanjing Technology, TBI, Yintai, Shanghai Silver, Guizi's THK, and German Rexroth. 5. Bearings: Machine tool spindle bearings are generally equipped by spindle unit manufacturers. Taiwan-made spindle units are generally equipped with Japanese NSK, Swedish SKF or French FAG. Normally, Taiwan-made spindles are generally equipped with small Japanese NSK. As far as the brand is concerned, the selection of this bearing brand is not under the control of CNC machining center manufacturers, and currently it can meet the needs of most users, as long as the brand of the spindle unit is selected.


In addition to the spindle bearing, the lead screw bearing is also the key here. Ball screw bearings for CNC machining centers generally use angular contact ball bearings, but major bearing manufacturers basically have special ball screw bearings based on their use characteristics, which are characterized by a 60-degree contact solution and can withstand higher axial directions. Force, accuracy and rigidity are relatively high. Currently commonly used angular contact ball bearing brands are: Wafangdian Bearing, Luoyang Bearing Research Institute, Harbin Bearing, Taiwan TPI, Japan NSK and other brands. 6. Bearing lock nut: These two parts are small in size, but they also play an important role. 7. Coupling: The coupling is the connection between the motor and the lead screw, and is also used for the connection of the spindle motor and the spindle on some direct-coupled boxes. Its role not only plays a role in connection, but also has an important role in transmitting torsion. Therefore, whether on the spindle or on the lead screw, its quality cannot be ignored. At present, there are many brands of couplings used in CNC machining centers, including those made in China, Taiwan, and other imported brands. The price difference is also several times as large.


8. CNC system, servo motor, driver: This part is an important item of the cost of 3d cnc machine. There are also many commonly used brands and the price difference is relatively large, so I will not repeat it here. In the operation of CNC machining center, the proficiency of the system operation is inversely proportional to the failure rate, because many failures or problems are caused by not operating. Therefore, users should choose their own operating habits or system brands with high cost performance.



2. Body and other parts


1. There are many links that affect the quality of 3d cnc machine, and there are many factors. It does not mean that the selected configuration is a good CNC machining center.
