M19 spindle positioning fault

 

If you want to deal with spindle failure (non-precision mechanical failure), you must understand the spindle control method, the connection method between the spindle and the spindle motor, and the encoder feedback method. Only when theory guides practice can we carry out repairs with confidence. Whether it is an M19 positioning fault or an inaccurate speed fault, we must first understand the following 6 commonly used position feedback methods:

1 MZI encoder (the most common in Lijia)

This encoder is behind the FANUC spindle motor and can only be seen after removing the fan inside the red cover. The most common spindle is the direct-connected spindle and the synchronous belt connection. Set parameter 4002.0=1. The control theory diagram is as follows:

2 a external encoder connection (most commonly used on lathes, square wave)

When the external encoder is broken, unplug the JYA3 plug and modify the 4002 parameter to 00000001 to shield the external encoder fault alarm and judge its quality.

3 as external encoder (connected to spindle driver JYA4, Zhengxuanbo)

4 Proximity switch positioning (commonly used in vertical plus belt with high and low speed)

5 BZI/CZI (external) encoder (commonly used in turning and milling compound machine tools, with CS axis)

6 BZI/CZI (built-in) encoder (built-in is often used for electric spindles)
