According to statistics, the annual output value of sheet metal processing industry in my country has reached 1 trillion yuan. The sheet metal processing industry is closely related to our lives. Although it only accounts for 20% to 30% of metal processing, most manufacturing industries involve sheet metal processing, such as computers, machinery, textiles, electrical, instrumentation, sanitation, kitchen and office, etc., such as high and low voltage cabinets, control boxes, electrical boxes, trash cans, equipment shells, computer cases, stainless steel kitchen and bathroom equipment, office furniture products, and subway products. The realization of these products is the sheet metal expansion calculation of the product.
The expansion length of the sheet metal is related to the thickness of the sheet metal, the bending radius, the bending angle, and the sheet metal material properties (expressed by the Y and K factors).
First, introduce the Y factor and the K factor: 1) The K factor is the ratio of the distance from the inner side of the sheet metal to the center line of the bend to the thickness of the sheet metal, as shown in the equation of the K factor in Figure 1: K=A/T. Figure 12) The Y factor is the ratio calculated based on the centerline of the bend relative to the thickness of the sheet metal. The Y factor formula is: Y=K*(π/2). The default Y factor in Proe is 0.5. Sheet metal unfolding calculation formula: As shown in Figure 2, the unfolded length of the sheet metal is L=L1+L2+L3;
L2=(π/2*R+Y*T)θ/90. Among them, π=3.1415, R is the inner bending radius of the sheet metal, T is the sheet metal thickness, and θ is the bending angle (unit degree). Figure 2 Common material Y factor and K factor values: Material: soft brass, copper, Y factor: 0.55, K factor: 0.35. Material: hard brass, copper, soft steel, aluminum, Y factor: 0.64, K factor: 0.41. Material: hard copper, bronze, cold-rolled steel, spring steel, Y factor: 0.71, K factor: 0.45.
