(2) High-speed spindle
In fact, the high-speed spindle is like the high-speed and high-power engine in an F1 car.
The main shaft can be roughly divided into two specifications:
1) Bearings => high torque, the current maximum speed can reach 54,000 rpm.
2) Bearingless (air driven) => low torque, but very fast speed (>100krpm).
The high torque allows the cutting of larger materials, using larger tools and harder materials. The high speed allows a faster cutting rate and achieves the effect of HSM.
(3) High dynamic performance of each axis
In fact, the bed structure of the machine itself is like the chassis of a car, which is strong and safe to absorb shocks and vibrations.
Traditional hard rails can be adjusted on the machine to obtain better accuracy, but it cannot achieve the high-speed machining that linear slide rails can achieve. High-speed axes and solid bed structure, acceleration is the key factor, high-acceleration axes reduce time waste, better cutting surface, low tool wear.
