I believe that many young people have such "grievances" and "unwillingness", but there is really no way, they can't do it, they have no choice.

Whether you admit this rule or not, the fact is that the key technical departments and positions of enterprises are dominated by a group of "old guys". They not only occupy the key positions of the enterprise, but also occupy most of the resources of the enterprise, while young people always seem to have no future, no hope, and no advancement.

1. There are disadvantages in the training mechanism of enterprises
Although the era we live in today has progressed to the so-called Industry 4.0 era, as far as the training mechanism of mechanical engineers is concerned, there has not been a corresponding improvement with the improvement of technology and management level, whether it is a traditional state-owned enterprise or an emerging one. In private enterprises, or foreign-funded enterprises known as industry benchmarks, the training mechanism for new engineers still relies more on the inheritance of "masters leading apprentices", without a systematic and scientific training mechanism.

And science and engineering have a very bad "bad habit". We often hear the phrase "literati look down on each other". In fact, there are such problems in science and engineering. An excellent mechanical design engineer can comprehensively exercise his design ability and design ideas only through a large number of different design projects, and constantly improve his design skills and skills in the design and execution of these projects, and constantly summarize his success And failure, and finally form your own unique design concept, and the ultimate support of design projects is money, so we can say that your mechanical design ability comes from the amount of money you spend.
In fact, old mechanical engineers are not necessarily worth more than young mechanical engineers, but those mechanical engineers who really have project experience are worth more than engineers without project experience, and age only helps you to have more experience in design to a certain extent. project only. Without the support of design projects, even if you stay in this industry for 40 years, it will not be of much use value, let alone valuable.
However, a mechanical design project is a very long-term process from market research, to scheme design, to product production, to product perfection and finalization, and then to product launch. From an ignorant youth to a middle-aged man in the prime of life is just a flick of a finger. While time takes away the years and appearance, it also brings us the accumulation of technology and ability, and brings us knowledge that we can rely on and rely on And capital, this is where the confidence of old engineers is worth.
If the company you are currently working for has a large number of projects for you to participate in and host, please cherish it, because it is a rare opportunity to use the company's cost to achieve personal ability, and there is no need to worry too much about the success or failure of the project Everything has a cost, sometimes failure is just a cost of the enterprise, but this kind of failure is a kind of success in terms of your personal ability, because you will not be in the same place in the future Fall again, this experience will bring you endless value.
This is why I prefer to persuade young people to go to some entrepreneurial small companies, because you have a lot of opportunities to experience various design projects, and you have a lot of trial and error platforms and projects to achieve your personal ability and wisdom.
Personally, so far, I have participated in and presided over the design of at least 50 products. For those design engineers in state-owned enterprises, this number may not be reached in a lifetime, because many engineers are in charge of They are all mature products. Although these products occupy a large share of the market, they do not have a lot of room for design and innovation. This is very unfavorable for improving the personal ability of a mechanical design engineer, because there is no project experience. , their usable value is out of the question.

3. Talent determines height
In fact, I have never wanted to say this sentence—this is a profession that requires talent. Many people are indeed born with the ability to deal with mechanical structures. I have brought many newcomers, but one of them is very good. Being able to make surprising and creative designs, especially in the handling of some structures, will always give people unexpected gains, which makes me very impressed, but some people are very "stupid", at least in mechanical In terms of design, I find it difficult to agree. Of course, they may be superior in other things, but I really don't see their potential for development in this industry.
There is also the ability to accept. In fact, the ability to accept is two-way. There are not only the correct guidance and teachings of the master, but also the humility to learn and comprehend from the apprentice. Both are indispensable. In fact, this is a problem of communication. To cultivate, but if you are born with this talent, you will take more shortcuts in your career, because no one likes to deal with "stupid", sometimes it is a kind of self-cultivation to communicate with people who are too "stupid" , because you have to have endless patience and gentleness to satisfy their effective communication, but most people can't do it.

Therefore, I also have a suggestion here. Every newcomer needs to evaluate his understanding in this industry. This understanding is not positively correlated with IQ.
