Casting mold means that in order to obtain the structural shape of the part, other easily moldable materials are used to make the structural shape of the part in advance, and then the mold is placed in the sand mold, so a cavity with the same structural size as the part is formed in the sand mold. Then pour a fluid liquid into the cavity. After the liquid cools and solidifies, a part with exactly the same shape and structure as the mold can be formed.

There are many processes for molding, which are mainly divided into the following categories according to different working conditions:
1. Ordinary die forging:
Ordinary die forging places a heated or unheated metal blank in the mold cavity. Under the action of impact or pressure. The geometric shape of the metal is changed to obtain a forging that is consistent with the cavity. Common die forging includes hot forging and pier forging. Dun forging can also be divided into warm pier, cold pier and hot pier;
2. Extrusion:
Extrusion involves placing metal material into the extrusion model cavity. Apply strong pressure on one end. The casting mold material is deformed in a three-way state. Then it flows out from the die hole at one end. Get parts in different shapes. Classified according to the relative movement direction between the punch and the material. Extrusion can be divided into forward extrusion, reverse extrusion, compound extrusion, radial extrusion, etc. According to the blank temperature, it can be divided into hot extrusion, cold extrusion and warm extrusion;
3. Pulling:
During drawing, the material is compressed in two directions and stretched in one direction. Shaped through the die holes of the casting mold. Obtain blanks, profiles and parts of required shapes and sizes. Drawing can be divided into extubation, drawing, etc. The products obtained by drawing have relatively high precision and low surface roughness, and are often used to reprocess rolled bars and pipes to improve quality;
4. Stamping:
Stamping uses a die to deform or separate materials. To obtain the processing method of the parts. Stamping can produce parts with complex shapes, good surface quality, and high precision. Casting molds have high productivity and low costs at the same time. Stamping can be mainly divided into two types: forming process and separation process. The separation process includes punching, blanking, trimming, trimming and other methods; the forming process includes drawing, bending, expansion, rummaging, leveling, etc.;
5. Die casting:
Die casting is a process in which molten metal is injected into the die-casting model cavity at high speed under a certain pressure and solidified under pressure to form a casting;
6. Plastic molding:
Plastic molding is a casting mold that molds powdered or fluidized plastic under the action of pressure to obtain plastic products of the required shape and size. Plastic molding can be divided into extrusion molding, compression molding, injection molding and other process methods
